3 Things I Wish I’d Known When I Started Livestreaming

Let’s be honest. When you start anything new, you will learn from hard knocks, mistakes, and just plain ‘doh’ moments.

In this live stream episode, I’ll share some shortcuts to keep you from making the same mistakes I did when starting out using live, on-camera videos.

  • You will stink at first … don’t give up and don’t trash every video you record. Just go with it. Get the feedback and learn from it.
    • how to go from suck to savvy?
      • practice
      • focus on improving
      • speak on what you’re passionate about
  • Not everybody will love you
    • good reasons – not their topic; they don’t care
    • bad reasons – trolls and evil people
  • Your systems will save you…every time
    • trolls? have a plan
    • video process? have a checklist
    • calendar

    1. Hi lady LaFern Batie! So Streamyard is an app that lets you stream your videos to multiple locations from within its platform.

LiveLeap only works for sharing your Facebook Live to groups/pages within Facebook (not Youtube, Twitter, etc) and it’s not a streaming tool; LiveLeap requires you to stream from another platform while they only share it.
